In the form of a reel-to-reel film camera, It is believed that this car mascot was produced for a film director in the early 20th century.
This is a very rare and highly valuable example. Another one sold at Bonhams estimate £6000 pounds sterling, ref source Bonhams in the Good wood Festival of Speed Sale in 2018 and Burbank California sale in 2009.

The casting is superb, made from solid bronze with a nickel plate finish and chrome cap base.

Having charming patina wear, scuffs, scratches, stains, weathering, rust, a small camera handle is missing from the back that it would have originally been screwed on. Most of the nickel plate coating has worn away commensurate with usage & old age. You can easily get it restored to look mint if you want, we prefer this natural old-used worn patina look
