All of our international orders are delivered via DHL or Fedex. You will receive tracking details from DHL on the day your artwork leaves Cheshire Antiques Consultant.
We offer Free Standard Delivery to Mainland England, Wales & Scottish Mainland areas only. This is door to door service only 1 person courier.
We offer standard & express shipping options, the following delivery times only applies to customers located in the UK Mainland only. Express shipping 1-3 working days. Standard shipping 2-5 working days or economy option 5-10 working days approximate. Ask for a shipping quote. Express next working day shipping is available only in the United Kingdom mainland, however this is not a free service and there would be a charge of £65 per item on items up to 30kg in weight max and size limit 120cm restriction. For next working day express shipping for heavy bulky furniture & stone items between 31kg and 250kg the cost would be £250 per item approximate.
For all international orders are shipped via either standard or express shipping options. Your order will arrive depending upon which standard or Express shipping option you have selected between 3-21 working days approximate from 1 working dispatch day after the order is placed.
Shipping charges are calculated automatically in your shopping cart. This enables you to see instantly how much you will be charged for shipping. Shipping is calculated by either weight or size. When ordering outside of the United Kingdom, the recipient is responsible for assuring the product can be legally imported to the destination country. The buyer receiver's VAT/Tax ID number (CUIT or CUIL or CDI in Argentina) is required for clearance of goods. Please ensure that you include it during booking via message or email to us. Shipments without this information will not be cleared by Customs and will be transited to a general cargo warehouse rather than delivered door-to-door, incurring delays and additional costs. Shipments not cleared from the warehouse within 30 days will be returned to sender, which will take up to 90 days.
As specialist's in selling fine art, antiques & collectibles, Cheshire Antiques Consultant is eligible and uses the UK Vat margin scheme. Where the reduced UK Vat margin rate of 16.67% or one sixth is applied to invoices for UK based buyer to consumers and qualifying UK buyer to business's, who are eligible to use the UK vat margin scheme. Exports shipped outside the European Union are Zero rated. Without prejudice all of our stock item descriptions are solely our opinion, whilst every effort has been made to provide accurate information, errors and omissions may occur. Consequently Cheshire Antiques Consultant accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage that may result directly or indirectly from any advise or descriptions, opinions & information, representation or omission, whether negligent or not, contained on this site. Cheshire Antiques Consultant reserves the right to add or remove any items from our website or other sites without notice. Changes or updates to the content of this site may occur without any prior notice. Full cleared payment must be made and received by our bank in advance before any item can be shipped or released over to any collecting courier or collecting in person.
The recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country. The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees, which are imposed once a shipment reaches the recipient's country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be fulfilled by the recipient. Cheshire Antiques Consultant has no control over these charges, nor can Cheshire Antiques Consultant predict what they may be.
Customs, duties, any other custom charges, and taxes are non-refundable: so a shipment that is refused because of unexpected import fees, the cost of the original shipping and any return shipping charges will not be refunded. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for more information. When customs clearance procedures are required, it can cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates.
To avoid a delay in receiving your order from customs, we strongly suggest:
Providing a phone number where you can be reached by customs when your product arrives. This phone number will be listed on the commercial invoice so customs can reach you to clear your order.
Please do not refuse a shipment or ignore requests from carriers regarding duty and/or tax liability charges. Be aware that most carriers will hold a shipment for 5 days after arrival in your country before they return it to the sender.
We do not refund shipping charges & do not refund any item cost amount for goods that are refused for delivery at customs.
