1 Fine Hunting Sporting Scottish Work of Art Oil Painting Highlanders With Dogs Lurchers & Horses.
Subject 19th century Scottish hunting scene of 2 Highlander Huntsman with loyal Lurcher dogs and 2 horses on the Scottish Highland moors. The Highlander on the left is wearing a kilt the other trousers and holding a large walking hiking stick, both are wearing traditional hats. One is holding the reigns to a beautiful fine impressive white horse who has a saddle blanket. With another black horse just to the right. Below are 2 lurchers chained together, wth the another dog on the other flank. Set in the landscape backdrop of the Scottish grassy moors , with views of Highland hills & mountains in the distance.
Having such perspective with a mainly overcast sky with some blue coming through to the top left corner

Set in a rather decorative gilt frame which enhances this painting, the colours of the painting are so vibrant.
