This is such a special museum quality piece.
He is wearing a traditional fisherman's sea captain's hat and has a pipe in his mouth. You can see his coat collar and his big beard.
It is so finely hand cast made and gives the impression of flowing movement with the contours of his clothes, even creases to his facial features and forehead.
No foundry mark, thought it has all the qualities of the Coalbrookdale design influence.
Made in England.
