1 Fine French Small Cast Bronze Statue of Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte Military Leader After Emile Guillemin.
In the style of similar to after Emile Guillemin.
Émile Coriolan Hippolyte Guillemin 16 October 1841 – 1907 was a French sculptor of the Belle Époque.
He worked in bronze, he studied under his father, the painter Auguste Guillemin, and under Jean-Jules Salmson.
He showed work at the Salon of Paris from 1870 to 1899 and in 1897 received an honourable mention there.
A most ornate desirable decorative cast bronze statue of Napoleon in full military dress set on a marble base.
Made in France.
It does have the Guillemin foundry stamp.
It is heavy under 3kg approximate unwrapped weight.
Circa late 20th century 1990's, 20 years old approximate.
