Rosemarie Donaldson is a highly skilled English artist with great empathy for all animals, and this is reflected in the warmth of her superb portraits.
Rosemarie lives on a farm in Hampshire and her studio overlooks paddocks where palomino pony Pablo grazes.
She has painted all her life since a child, mostly painting animals, having also done some human portraits, scenery and sea scapes.
Always loved animals and kept many dogs, 2 horses, smaller animals and an aviary and fish pond.
She has lived in Australia for 2 years & who worked there, and have done a variety of jobs in her life.
Also has helped many animal charities here in England and overseas & been on television.
She also loves riding and driving horses and just being with them.
Set in a beautiful gilt frame.
With hanging thread on the back ready for home display.
Circa late 20th century 1980's dated 1982.
