Made of solid heavy oak panelled & heavily carved.
We adore the carving on this splendid item.
With pegged Hugh turned Jacobean support pillars having wood turn door locks.
On Bun Feet & solid oak plank back made by a master craftsman.
It came from out of an old castle home.
It would make a magnificent entrance piece for a town or country home.
Circa late 19th century 1880's.
Offered in charming original fine used condition.
Having various charming noticeable wear scuffs, scratches, stains, historic woodworm commensurate with usage & age.
