- Subject half length front portrait view of Anne Bowes-Lyon who became Viscountess Anson and H.H Princess of Denmark.
- Princess Anne of Denmark (formerly Anne Anson, Viscountess Anson, née Anne Ferelith Fenella Bowes-Lyon; 4 December 1917 – 26 September 1980) was a first cousin of Elizabeth II and the mother of royal photographer Patrick Anson, 5th Earl of Lichfield and Lady Elizabeth Shakerley.
- She became a Princess of Denmark through her second marriage.Having such incredible detail with such close brushstroke control, the fur coats seem so real.

- Harry Clifford Pilsbury (British, 1870-1925) was an art master at Oundle school and went on to become the headmaster of Whittlesey School of Art in Cambridge. He is said to have exhibited 16 works at the Royal Academy of Arts from 1902-1924. Pilsbury was an important society portrait painter in the late 1800s and 1900s and painted many of the leading figures in the Leicester area.
