- Was born in 1922 and died in 1995 as the Aon of German-French parents.
- During those times people were still recovering from world war 1.
- Despite hardships, Willy showed great optimism.
- He was inspired by the great masters in the Dusseldorf area, where the great artists competed against each other.
- The Dusseldorf art academy became world famous. Nevertheless, he had a very special view of painting.
- Impressionism, which was seen by all as the Ne Plus Ultra, touched him conditionally.
- Deeply religious and historical themes interested him.
- He painted for the Cathedral of St. Swidbert in Dusseldorf Kaiserswerth, a well known painting named " Comforter of the poor and needy" and " Outlawry of war".
- His life's most famous works can be seen in the exhibition.
