  • Paar feine antike belgische Kunstwerke viktorianische Tierölgemälde Rinder, Schafe, Lamm, Ziege und Enten.
  • Thema Landschaft mit Tieren, das erste hat ein Mutterschaf mit 2 ihrer Babylämmer, die sitzen und nach rechts schauen, mit einer Ziege, die oben steht und nach links schaut. Mit einem Baum dahinter und offener Landschaft in der Ferne. Ganz rechts ist im Eckbereich eine kleine Maynard-Ente. Auf dem zweiten Begleitgemälde ist die Szene von Mutterschafen, die nach rechts schauen, und direkt unter ihrem Babylamm, das ebenfalls steht, nur das linke, das sich hinlegt, ist 1 Rind, das geradeaus schaut. In der unteren Ecke sitzt eine Maynard-Ente. Auch mit Bäumen im Hintergrund und landschaftlich reizvoller Aussicht auf das offene Landfeld.

  • Jeweils in der unteren Ecke von dem bekannten Künstler Franz van Severdonck (1809-1889) signiert.
  • Er malte hauptsächlich Genrebilder und Landschaften mit Kühen, Schafen und Geflügel, er zählt zu den Anhängern des belgischen Viehmalers Eugène Joseph Verboeckhoven, der 1827 nach Brüssel übersiedelte und mit seinen Rinderbildern große Erfolge im Salon erzielte. Die Viehmalerei war im 19. Jahrhundert ein sehr beliebtes Genre. Der belgische Maler Franz van Severdonck wurde in Brüssel geboren, wo er sein ganzes Leben lang lebte und arbeitete. Wo der Künstler ausgebildet wurde, ist noch nicht bekannt, aber seine hohen kompositorischen und technischen Fähigkeiten lassen auf eine professionelle Ausbildung schließen. Franz van Severdonck war ein Meister der Tiere und schuf zahlreiche Kompositionen mit Schafen, Pferden und Hühnern.
